This shirt was inspired by our 2023 trip to Turkey after the earthquake. We were stranded in the Adana airport with no way to reach Hatay, yet we felt impressed to keep moving forward. We walked out of the airport, flagged down a security vehicle, and made it to the Turkish Coast Guard base—but still with no hope of a helicopter.

Back at the airport we prayed, choosing to keep serving however we could, right where we were. Then, unexpectedly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs walked in and said, “I hear you’re trying to get on a helicopter—I’m going to help you.” Thirty minutes later, we were airborne on two Coast Guard AB-412 helicopters. The pilot handed us a patch—the very design that inspired the artwork on this shirt.

The words at the top come from Ministry of Healing, p. 471:

“Our heavenly Father has a thousand ways to provide for us, of which we know nothing… If we keep the one principle of the service of God supreme, we shall see perplexities vanish and a plain path before our feet.”
